We took a little field trip to L & D last Monday. I called my doctor due to some dizziness that I had been experiencing. She decided to have me go to the hospital to get checked out. The baby's heartbeat was monitored, I was monitored for contractions and my blood pressure was monitored for about an hour. I also had blood drawn. Everything turned out okay though and they released us after about 4 hours. The dizziness is still a mystery, I guess it's just what happens when you have a little one growing inside of you :) I was glad to have a mini tour of L & D. It sort of puts my mind at ease knowing how kind the nurses are. Hopefully our next field trip won't be for another 12 weeks or so.

Hey Amber, you are looking great! I too was glad to have toured the L&D before go day, it helped to calm my fears and anxieties.
I also experienced dizziness throughout much of my pregnancy, my doc said it was an iron issue because our bodies are producing so much extra blood!
I am glad everything is okay and I'm excited to see pictures of your baby soon:)
