20 week tummy!

We thought we would post a tummy shot for all of you that don't get to see us...so, here it is :) Hurray for being 1/2 way done!!

Oh Boy!!

We went to our 20 week check up on Thursday. The appointment went great. We saw our little one moving around and once again felt a sense of excitement as we thought about what lies ahead. We are excited to announce that our baby is progressing nicely. HIS, yeah that's right we said HIS :) organs, limbs and everything else is healthy and right on track. After about an hour the tech scanned the lower half of his body and confirmed that he has a "scrotum and penis"! After the tech was done the doctor came in to check out our little one. He also confirmed that we have a little "weinie wacker!!" So in about 5 months we will be parents to a little boy. Not sure what we will do with a little boy, but we are pretty confident we can figure it out by then. Here are a few pics to get you excited!

Pink or Blue?!

On December 18th we have our big ultrasound. The Dr. will measure the baby, check the organs, and make sure everything is progressing okay. I asked if we will find out the gender and the receptionist informed me that the ultrasound tech will give us their opinion of what the baby might be! I didn't realize the appointment wasn't just about the gender determination!! I guess finding out if the baby is healthy is important too :)

Lovely nieces

Last week my brother Chris and I went to Alaska to visit our family. It was a bit cold, but we had a great time seeing everyone. I didn't have an opportunity to visit with any of my friends, but I did have a great time spending quality time with my nieces. We will be making a trip back to Alaska in the spring after the baby is born. Even though I just left, I miss them all so much already.
